Dr. Whitfield grew up in the state of Michigan where he attended Michigan State University earning a BA in Economics and becoming a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He acquired his Master’s from Harvard in Epidemiology. He and Jennifer currently live in Powell, Ohio with their three children Gwen, Jared, Nora, and dog Stella. He operates a traditional osteopathic medical practice in the Powell area of Columbus, Ohio. He is board-certified in Neuromuscular Medicine and Pain Medicine and formerly certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Whitfield is a long-time active member and currently Program Chairman for the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine the Prolotherapy Association serving on the Prolotherapy Board for several years and promoting the osteopathic principles and benefits inherent to prolotherapy every day.
